Factory – Serving up motoring heritage with a side of tasty food + drink.

A stylishly urban-industrial food-hall housed in a car radiator factory, in the heart of the motor heritage city of Coventry. Home to a collective of the best street food retailers and a bar mixing and serving serving locally sourced drinks, housed in a buzzing social hub dishing up family vibes by day and drinks and beats as the sun goes down.

Offering insights from the outset, Studio.rh helped to inform the brief and develop name generation exercises and techniques, through to guiding the interior design and final identity roll-out. Unearthing the history and heritage of the site played a big part of identity conceptualisation, from the brand name to the building shape informing the logo and heritage motor colours making an appearance on the final palette.

A distinct brand identity and tone of voice was created that was sympathetic to the space and celebrated its history, whilst looking forward to the future and inviting an eclectic mix of traders and customers. The brand came to life through a boldly industrial concept with a playful tone of voice that was applied to interior and exterior design, way-finding, signage, menu boards, marketing communications and social media.
